MACHINE VISION CAMERAS
B/W DSP MACHINE VISION CAMERA
DIGITAL SIGNAL PROCESSING (DSP) is now available on a Machine Vision
camera. What does DSP mean to your application? With DSP you will have the ability
to set up multiple “processing profiles.” In other words, you will be able to optimize
the camera’s signal processing setup to maximize the performance for your system’s
lighting, lenses, environment, target profiles, etc. For example, imagine that your
system is used to inspect a shiny chrome metallic component at one location and a
black silicon wafer at a second. With the Sentech DSP camera you could optimize the
way the camera processes the video, in order to generate the “best” image of each of
these very different targets. This is just one example of the power of DSP. For addi-
tional information, please call us.
